Managing Difficult Conversations with Constituents, a Virtual Braver Angels Workshop
With the upcoming elections, there is increased anxiety around the current political polarization in our communities.
Join your public service colleagues from across the state for this FREE, virtual workshop, which will equip you with practical tools you can use when a constituent, colleague, or community member tells you how wrong you are and how you should change course. This workshop is highly participatory, and attendees are required to have their cameras and microphones on.
By attending this virtual workshop, you will learn skills that can help you:
- Feel more confident in your role as an elected or appointed leader
- Better soften critics
- Find common ground
- Reduce the rancor in our increasingly divisive environment
This course is brought to you through a collaboration between Braver Angels, the League of Minnesota Cities, the Association of Minnesota Townships, the Minnesota School Boards Association, and the Association of Minnesota Counties.
Please note: This course is for anyone interested in developing skills to manage conflict and who has not attended a Braver Angels workshop in the past, or who wishes to brush up on the Braver Angels content.
